Project Description

Ujayi Breath, or Ocean Breathing is the type of breathing where you feel your breath at the back of your throat, it’s almost as if you close the throat a little, like snoring. This type of breathing activates the Vagus Nerve, this Vagus Nerve is the main nerve connected to the Autonomic Nervous System, it helps to calm our nervous system by activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System. The Autonomic Nervous System consists of the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System, or the Active side and Calming side of the Nervous System.

When we are focussing on our breath automatically we start to feel calmer, and the bonus of this Ocean Breathing is also that you will hear a soft sound, almost like the Ocean plus because it activates the Vagus Nerve you will really start to feel calmer.
