Increasing your vagal tone activates the parasympathetic nervous system\, and having higher vagal tone means that your body can relax faster after stress. \nThis course again can be very beneficial for those that are looking to learn new techniques to cope with stress and anxiety levels. It will also enhance your mood\, so if you are looking to find ways to uplift your mood\, it can help. Like the Yoga Therapy Vitality Program\, this program will also help boost the immune system and also includes the transformational breathwork that promotes alkalinity and reduces acidity plus clears energetic blockages and energises you. \nTension & Trauma Release Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress\, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli\, PhD\, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension\, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment\, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. \nWorking with breath and movement\, areas of tension and blockage can be released and the core of inner support and strength experienced. As habitual patterns in the body change or become more flexible\, the mind also changes\, allowing for greater openness\, choice and spontaneity of being. \n\n\nPhysical Benefits\n\nrelease tensions and relax mind and body\ndevelop internal strength\, coordination and graceful movement\nbeneficial for managing auto-immune disorders\nhelps cope with pain management (Chronic pain)\nprevent injuries\nfacilitate healing after accidents or surgery\nexpand your movement range and promote better alignment\nlow self-esteem and lack of confidence\nanxiety and depression\nstress-related disorders\nchronic low energy or hyperactivity\nVery beneficial for those in recovery from addictions\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOther Benefits\nBeyond purely physical benefits\, feeling at ease in your body and developing better habits of posture and movement can also benefit your general health and emotional well-being. \nMind and body are integrally connected\, and a change in the way you use your body can have far-reaching effects on how you feel. \nFeeling more balanced in your body can be a support to finding greater mental and emotional stability. \n\n\n\n\n\nAmenable Conditions\nEmotions are often held in the body\, causing physical symptoms of tension or pain\, sometimes contributing to the development of ill-health.. \nThis work is based on an understanding that what you need for your healing and growth lies within you. \nIt seeks to empower you by developing trust in yourself and the wisdom of your body. \n\n\n URL:https://positivespirit.co.uk/event/6-week-yoga-therapy-vitality-program-including-qigong-tre-transformtional-breathing-and-yoga-nidra/ LOCATION:The Tabernacle\, 34-35 Powis Square\, London\, W11 2AY\, United Kingdom CATEGORIES:Courses ORGANIZER;CN="PositiveSpirit":MAILTO:mieke@positivespirit.co.uk END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20190513T183000 DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20190624T203000 DTSTAMP:20190423T002219 CREATED:20190403T170152Z LAST-MODIFIED:20190403T171150Z UID:1793-1557772200-1561408200@positivespirit.co.uk SUMMARY:6 Week Yoga Therapy Vitality Program - one week break Bank Holiday Monday DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nThe Yoga Therapy Vitality Week Program is highly effective in reducing stress levels.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJust as the 8 Week Yoga Therapy for the Mind Course\, this course will also be highly effective in reducing stress levels. It will also include Mindfulness but the physical practice and breathing will be different in this course\, we go deeply into the nervous system with this program. \nThrough my work as a Yoga Therapist I have worked with people who were looking for healing from past trauma and I used different techniques to release deep tensions\, using body and breath\, and also sound and meditation. Many of my clients started to feel better\, increased energy levels\, mentally stronger and more focused. Also\, I developed an interest in immune system disorders as some of my own family members and myself were affected to a certain extent. \n\n\n\n\n\nI travelled to Poland with Dutch teacher Wim Hof\, aka The Iceman and trained in his techniques that are scientifically proven backed by research studies at the renowned Dutch Academic Radboud Hospital\, to strengthen the immune system. People who have been using the method reported increased function of the immune system\, often blood tests showing reduced inflammation marks and the method also greatly helps with coping with the chronic pain associated with for example arthritis\, reducing pain levels. Hence I created the Vitality Program. \nTension & Trauma Release Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple yet innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress\, tension and trauma. When I was in my early twenties I was lucky enough to spend some time there and work as a tour guide\, discovering the Alps with groups of Dutch tourists taking daily walks in the beautiful fresh mountain air. \nOver the years I still have been revisiting the mountains on a regular basis as food for the soul. \nNow I would like to share this with you! \nThe plan is to share a lot of my knowledge and techniques that I share in my Yoga Therapy Vitality Programs in London with you and more. The place is beautiful\, it’s a new area for me too and therefore a new discovery which makes it even more exciting. \nI found the beautiful Schloss in Trins\, about half an hour away from Innsbruck.
