Yoga Therapy, Qigong, Mindfulness Retreat in the Austrian Alps
June 29 - July 4| £750 – £1195
I am very excited to have teamed up with The Schloss in Trins and here found the perfect place for a truly relaxing, rejuvenating and healing stay in the Austrian Alps.
As those of you, that have known me for a while, know, Austria and the Alps have a very special place in my heart.
It’s in the Alps where I discovered so much of myself and our connection with nature. When I was in my early twenties I was lucky enough to spend some time there and work as a tour guide, discovering the Alps with groups of Dutch tourists taking daily walks in the beautiful fresh mountain air.
Over the years I still have been revisiting the mountains on a regular basis as food for the soul.
Now I would like to share this with you!
The plan is to share a lot of my knowledge and techniques that I share in my Yoga Therapy Vitality Programs in London with you and more. The place is beautiful, it’s a new area for me too and therefore a new discovery which makes it even more exciting.
I found the beautiful Schloss in Trins, about half an hour away from Innsbruck. It was a dear friend who told me about it and “by coincidence” I stumbled upon the website myself too and it seemed the right venue and thing to do!
I would like to start every day with a practice before breakfast in the beautiful beamed studio with views over the mountains. Then we just let the day unfold, I hope we can go for nice walks but also find enough time to talk and share.
At the end of the day I will guide you through an other practice before going for diner.
Glorious food will be provided by Skye, who not only owns the Schloss, but is a chef specialising in creative, healthy and healing foods. Her influences are European, Middle Eastern and Asian.
Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
The Schloss in Trins is a beautiful Austrian home in the mountains. Located in the picturesque village of Trins in Tirol, The Schloss is nestled in a stunning Alpine valley only 25 mins from Innsbruck but in the heart of untouched mountain scenery. The Schloss provides unique accommodation, attentive service, inspiring scenery & great food.
The Schloss itself is a traditional yet unique Austrian house, the Schloss is part of a country estate which dates back to the 12th century. An original tower that was part of the castle which originally sat on the land still remains and now gives the house its distinct image.
Having been in the family for centuries, the Schloss is steeped with history shown in the antiques, paintings, wooden floors and traditional furniture, making it an extremely interesting place to stay. The house is spacious and warm, filled with character and stories and guests are always encouraged to make themselves feel at home here.
From the turret it is possible to looking out over the village of Trins and up to the surrounding mountains. It is a beautiful place to eat breakfast on a summers morning or relax with a drink whilst wrapped up in a blanket on a winters evening.
With a maximum of 10 guests, the group is intimate. Each of the bedrooms is completely unique and beautifully designed, all with original furniture and artwork.
